We are currently organizing an in-person conference for 2022, and we hope we will be able to see everyone in Helsinki.
This year’s registration categories are as follows:
- Full conference registration: $200
- Non-attending artist registration: $75
- Companion registration: $75
- Remote participation registration: $75
We recognize that some participants will be uncertain about their ability to attend in person, and have lowered our usual registration fees to account for that risk.
Full conference registration does not include the conference proceedings or art exhibition catalog. Unlike previous years, we will not be distributing printed books at the conference. Instead, you will be able to order them directly from the printing company. When the books are available, we will provide links where they can be purchased.
Companion registration is for people accompanying full conference participants, who wish to attend social functions, concerts, and receptions.
Remote participation allows online viewing of the morning plenary talks on August 1–3 plus papers given remotely on those afternoons in Room A (Aalto Hall). These talks will be available to watch live via Zoom and recordings will be available for a short period of time. This category is only for people who have not previously registered in any other category. If you have already registered, you will automatically have access to this remote content. Everyone who has registered for Bridges 2022 will receive remote access information a few days before the conference.
The registration fee is non-refundable. If you have contributed a paper and discover that you are unable to attend, we will attempt to make it possible for you to contribute a talk electronically. If circumstances change and it becomes impossible to hold the conference in person, we will switch to holding it online, as in 2021.
