The Bridges Organization oversees the annual Bridges conference on mathematical connections in art, music, architecture, and culture. Since 1998, Bridges has traveled to North America, Europe, and Asia, and has attracted participants from over thirty countries. The conference features invited speakers, regular and short paper presentations, hands-on workshops, a juried art exhibition, and arts performance events.
Bridges Richmond 2024
The 2024 Bridges conference will take place August 1–5 on the Monroe Park campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, USA.
Bridges Halifax 2023
The 2023 Bridges conference took place July 27 – 31 at the Sexton campus of Dalhousie University, which is located in Nova Scotia, also known as Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq’.
The 2023 Conference Proceedings can be read and searched online in the Bridges Archive. Physical copies of the 2023 Conference Proceedings, Art Exhibition Catalog, and Poetry Anthology are available for purchase.
